of note

A small boy has climbed the tree outside my window and begun yodeling.

  1. At first I was thinking oh sheesh, but then Chris said it sounded cute and I realized he was correct and changed my tune. Awesome, indeed.

  2. No better place to yodel than up a tree!

  3. Sweet yodeling ... though temporary yodeling. I am understanding of those who cherish silence and can be set off by noise (I'm one of them) ;^)

    1. I can definitely be set off. This is precisely why cafe writing is not optimal for me.

  4. Yay for children who have no idea what's us grown ups think is "oh shees" and yodels away!

Can you imagine a grown up doing that? :-)

    1. Yes, I thought so too, after my initial sheesh. A cute little guy in a blue windbreaker doing his own thing.

  8. Rare are the small boys who live in a place where they can safely climb trees on a whim, and even more rare are those who yodel. How lucky.

  11. Oh that is so cute and a reminder we should never get too old to skip or sing as we move around the world. It also reminds me of the days I climbed trees into the fantasy of Enid Blyton's The Magic Faraway Tree.
